He has lived on the ocean and Cambria, California, and on top of a mountain in Atascadero, California, for years.

John David Jagger is one of the most innovative, prolific sculptors of our time. Acclaimed by his peers, and with his work collected worldwide, he is a current master of the art form that is sculpture.

In 2007, after a chance encounter with Paso Robles Physician and vineyard owner Warren Frankel led to a multiple piece commission, Jagger completed the installation of twelve original “larger-than-life” monuments in bronze and granite for the fledging Sculpterra Winery and Sculpture Garden. This commission, which took 4 years to complete, instantly made Sculpterra the “must see” winery of California’s Central Coast region, and has been viewed by thousands of visitors since the winery opened.
