“White Puma” is a 15 foot long sculpture which is carved from solid granite- the largest art piece of this type of granite in the world. This cat wieghs 20,000 pounds and the base is part of the same block of stone.
The third CAT in the Sculpture Garden’s display is the largest. This Puma is a shade over twice the size a full-grown mountain lion would be. He was made of light-colored granite because the movement through his environment is quite ghost-like; silent, and with stealth.

This piece also was carved in a granite-enlarging-factory, from Jagger’s 8 ft. bronze model original. Eleven months labor went into this CAT.
